Who Is Maulana Seyed Abul Aala Maududi (R.A)?
He was one the greatest islamic thinkers of our time. He was a Mujjadid a reviver. Whos main aim was Iqmat deen. He has written great books against scocialism, secularism , explained the islamic polotical, social justice and economic system of islam. His first book was Jihad fil islam. He was one of the few ulema who made it clear to the public that Islam was Deen (Way of life) not just a madhab as most people believe islam is. His works have inspired many to become muslim or return to the deen of Allah. He was a brave man who after being sentenced to death for writing " the qadiani problem" refused a plea for mercy. However Allah saved him from the hands of taghoot.
When the masala of qommiate came up and Allama iqbal faced Maulana Husain Ahmad Madani in his poetry. Maulana Maududi Wrote a book where he refuted Maulana Husain Ahmad Madani (R.A)
Now to refute those who are of the opinion all deobandi ulema are against Him
Four Great Deobandi ulema who have supported and defended Maulana Mawdudi (R.A)
1) Sheikhul Hadith wa tafseer Maulana Muhammad Chirag (R.A) the student of Allama Anwar sha kashmiri (R.A) who graduated from deoband who compiled al-`Arf ash- Shadhi sharh Sunan al-Tirmidhi was a member of jamaat e islami.
2)Sheikul Hadith wa Tafseer Maulana Moieenuddin Khatak (R.A) About who Dr Sher ali shaykul hadith Jamia darululoom haqqania wrote that he was a class fellow of Mufti Mahmood (R.A) in qassimul uloom muradabad both graduated with an imtiyazi sanad also defended Maulana Mawdudi to the extent he went to darululoom Haqqania and challenged all to debate him regarding disputed masail about Maulana Mawdudi (R.A) and none came forward to face him.
3) Allama Maulana Mufti syahudeen Kakakheel (R.A) who graduated from daruluoom deoband. Was a student of Maulana Hussain ahmed madani (R.A) who at the request of the great Sheikul quran Maulana Ghulamullah Khan (R.A) wrote taqreez for his tafsir Jawahirul quran. Who also was called to chair one session at the 100 years of darul uloom deoband convention He was a member of Jamaat e islami and defended maulana mawdudi.
4) Sheikul hadith Mufti Yusuf Deobandi (R.A) who was the student of Mufti kyfayatullah (R.A). He was a Mufti and taught Daraja ulya in maddrasah Haqqania for over 20 years came out in defence of Maulana Mawdudi (R.A) and wrote a book consisting of two Volumes. "Maulana Mawdudi par eitirazaat ka elmi jaiza"
So now think that these great ulema in the wrong when they defend Maulana Mawdudi (R.A) and stood by him?
